Thomas & Leilani
Foundation
Our mission is to preserve and celebrate traditional arts — including Western Swing, Honky Tonk, and Roots music — while creating access, mentorship, and visibility for Filipino American, BIPOC, and underrepresented artists.
The Thomas & Leilani Foundation is a Filipino-American–led nonprofit in development, founded by artist, cultural producer, and community organizer Meghan McCoy. Rooted in legacy and built for the future, the Foundation will serve as a hub for heritage-based music, artist development, cultural preservation, and creative empowerment.
Named after Meghan’s children, the Foundation reflects her lifelong mission: to leave behind more than a name—to build systems that uplift underserved voices and protect the stories that shaped us.
